Erin Hackett

Erin Hackett joined the Kenney Group in 2017, bringing more than 10 years of experience in communications and statewide government relations.  She is currently a Senior Account Executive with the Kenney Group focusing healthcare advocacy, statewide legislative services and coalition management.  Erin has experience working on state and local ballot initiatives in Colorado and has served as a co-chair of the Chronic Care Collaborative since 2013.

 

Prior to joining the Kenney Group, Erin spent 5 years as the Government Relations Director for the American Heart Association, overseeing the associations legislative efforts in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming.  While at the American Heart Association, Erin worked on a number of successful legislative and regulatory campaigns in all three states.  She was a recipient of the Cass Wheeler Collaboration award in 2015, And in 2014, Erin was the youngest individual to receive the Rome Betts Award for Excellence in Advocacy.  She  received her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Denver in 2012 and served as the Public Policy Coordinator at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Colorado – Wyoming Chapter while doing so.  Erin moved to Denver in 2010, where she still lives with her husband and daughter.  Prior to that Erin spent 6 years as a Broadcast Negotiator in New York City.
